The former Libertarian Party is a party with libertarian values founded by Count von Count. It was dissolved after Count left for the Covenant Party but re-founded later. It merged into the Midway Party.

There is no record of what day it was founded, but it is estimated to be later November-early December 2016. Count founded it to have a party to express his libertarian views.

The party dissolved in mid-December when Count von Count left for the Covenant Party. The Libertarian party was gone until December 31, 2016.

2020 Election, Reform, and Merger

For a short time, Count von Count ran in the Covenant Party for the 2020 Election with Margaret Tatcher; however, he quickly dropped out. On December 31, 2016, Count left the Covenant party and refounded the Libertarian Party. The Libertarian Party nominee was then David Lombard and Julian Assange for a short while until they dropped out as well. On January 13, 2017 the party merged into the Midway Party.
