Ivanka Trump joined IMG on November 26th. A supporter of the Drump campaign in the 2016 election, Ivanka went on to launch a campaign of her own, in New York. She managed to win that election with a 63% vote. She quickly began passing bills lowering taxes, reforming education, and rebuilding infrastructure. She also defunded Planned Parenthood in the Supreme Court, took part in crucial negotiations with China, proposed Amendment XI which would end Congress inactivity, and much more. Soon made plans for her own run for the Presidency.
Just two short days after President Gallagher being sworn in, Ivanka announced her candidacy for President of the United States. She was very productive in New York, and easily won the support of the Constitution Party. As the days went on, she got into several arguments with the Libertarian community, and things began to look dim. Nevertheless, Ivanka campaigned hard, and released her plans for America. On Election Day, things looked bright for the Gallagher campaign. However, as the day progressed, Ivanka's supporters came out in full force, and it looked like she was about to become the next president. Then, at 11:57, JFK voted for Gallagher, pulling him ahead and winning the presidency by just one vote. President Gallagher then nominated Ivanka Trump for the Secretary of State position, and after a contentious Congressional hearing, was approved by a 6-0 vote.
Ivanka Trump is one of the most well-known and influential members of IMG after her organized and almost successful run for president. Here are some scenarios that could potentially play out in the coming years.
Ivanka was one of Drump's biggest supporters in 2016, and he can surely use the now Secretary of State as a major surrogate while campaigning. A proven organizer and perfectionist, Ivanka would be a great addition to the team and is known to work on the Drump staff.
Secretary of State
A proven negotiator, Ivanka was tapped to be the next Secretary of State in Pollock's absence. Seeing as she was a large factor in the Chinese negotiations, she may score a trade deal or better relations with the now Communist state. Whoever wins the election in 2024, Ivanka has a solid chance at keeping her job for an additional four years.
Ivanka Trump has eyed several Senate seats, and with her name recognition and previous accomplishments she could very well snatch a seat in the Upper Chamber.
Ivanka will certainly not rule out another run in the future. She ran an organized campaign in 2020, and she is well admired and respected in the IMG community. How long until she would attempt this, however, is unknown.
